Team Nursing Leader
Full-time Profit-sharing eligible
As a stable, long term partner to leading hospitals and medical centers in Puget Sound, Promed knows the value of experienced leadership and attention to customer service. The core of our reputation rests with our great nurses. Our success stems from being able to consistently meet the staffing needs and quality expectations of our clients.
For nursing professionals wanting to take the next step, Promed Agency offers the Promed Team Nursing Leader position. Combining fulltime employment and benefits with key account profit sharing and recruitment bonuses, the team nursing leader is the primary point of contact with a senior institutional account, such as a major medical center. The team nursing leader is integral to the Promed Agency management scheme. As Promed grows, their income and responsibility grow.
This new level of management was added in response to the increasing complexity of how major medical centers deliver care, manage risk, and customize their charting and care protocols. Promed has re-doubled our commitment to employee training and account service. Continuing education under the direction of our nursing director has been increased with the ability to customize training to the needs of individual accounts. The Promed Team Nursing Leader has the primary responsibility to their key client that Promed is giving the best service possible and maximizing our value to key accounts.
The team nursing leader works in the field primarily at one campus of a key customer of Promed. Paired with a member of Promed's senior management, the lead account nurse is responsible for working with the client to anticipate staffing needs, ensure proper training for assigned Promed nurses, and recruit nursing staff to meet the skill requirements and shift availability needs of that account. The lead account nurse is expected to work nearly fulltime at that key account, learning their system protocols and procedures. Imparting that knowledge to other Promed nurses on that account and working as a partner with the client to assure quality control and safety is a key responsibility of the lead account nurse.
A lead account nurse can graduate to managing multiple accounts with successful achievement of service and income goals on their first institutional account.
Compensation is keyed to account service. The lead account nurse can earn extra income beyond their salary through:
• A profit sharing arrangement on their assigned key account of five percent, after expenses and overhead charges, paid quarterly.
• A per hour bonus on all hours worked by each and every nurse they recruit to work for Promed, regardless of where those hours are worked.
Hourly compensation and benefits are based on seniority and skill level of the lead account nurse and are negotiated upon entry. However, Promed pays competitive salaries for nurses willing to commit to fulltime (36 hours or more per week) work. Promed has consistently promoted from within its ranks and offers other entrepreneurial opportunities for professionals in the health care industry.
