Recovery from an illness or accident comes most naturally in an atmosphere of security, convenience, family and friends. Promed Home Care Services brings high-quality, personalized health care to the privacy of your own home.

Promed provides a broad range of home care related services to people in their homes. The following is a list of services available:

Certified Home Health Aide - a service with personnel certified to provide personal care and basic nurse aide procedures. Specially trained home health aides assist with daily activities, including personal hygiene and grooming, moving around, exercise programs, meal preparation and other activities of home management.

Homemaker - services include providing personal care to patient in his/her home, keeps home clean and manages laundry, shopping, personal errands and meals. Homemakers do not administer medications or provide medical care.

Companion - service provided at patient's choice of location; includes such activities as traveling with the patient to outside functions and assisting with getting around. The companion's role is to provide continuous companionship and assure the client's environment is clean, healthy and safe. Tasks can include meal planning, grocery shopping, meal preparation and cleaning up after meals.

Live-in - 24-hour service, daily presence in the patient's home. Live-ins offer a special relationship that includes assistance with the management of persons who require non-medical support. Typical duties may include light housekeeping, shopping, errands, laundry, meal preparation and companionship.

Bathing and tuck in - services that provide personal care and assistance in and out of bed, morning and evening.

House-sitting - services includes watching over property, pets, plants, pool and car.

Respite care - provides relief to primary caregivers whose loved one requires around-the-clock attention.

Saturday night out - bathing services provided to anyone comfined to the home. Allows care givers at home to go out for two hours and to have the client bathed and ready for Sunday.
